My daughter would absolutely LOVE this session with Scottish Wildlife Trust Moth Expert (another job that might have been), Mark Cubitt. Just trying to figure out if I’m dedicated enough to contact the organisers to plead her case to attend underage, rent a car, install a car seat and haul her out the door at 07.30 on a Sunday… doubtful.

✨ Thinking ahead to summer plans, I just wanted to give a personal recommendation to anyone wanting to try a camping festival with the kids. We went to this one in Perthshire last year and it was honestly so, incredibly wholesome and a proper breath of fresh air for our whole family. And only just over an hour away from home if it all went tits up and we needed to flee. Obviously having nice weather helped a lot but the festival site was super small, clean and safe and there were lots of other young families around… and no shitebags! Wholeheartedly recommend it!
